How would you find the volume of a 3-D shape?

For prisms you do base x height and for triangular pyramids you do base area x height / 3

Volume of Pyramid= base time height times length time 1/3

We made the base, and then made it higher.

How to find the volume: to find the volume you multiply the height by the length by the width in this case it was 24*58*63=87,696.

We made the base pod this right triangular pyramids, and then we added the height.

To find the volume you multiply the by the height by the length by the width in this case it was 57*40*57 =129,960

For rectangular prism, it is length times with times height and for triangular pyramid, it is base area times height divided by 3

How did I create this shape?

I created this show by first making the base and then adding the height to be how tall I wanted it to be. That it how I made my shapes.

I created the shape by creating a base of a triangle, and scaling it upwards. To find the volume, multiply length, width and height. I made this with the intention of making the “world’s smallest pyramid”

Volume = 1.2 cubic meters

First of all, for the prism, a made a square base. Next, I rose my iPad so that the height of the prism would increases. Then, for the pyramid, I made another square base on top of the prism and rose my iPad again so that the pyramid could look like a tall roof.
