         <description><![CDATA[<div><em><mark>What we know</mark></em></div><ul><li>Unemployment means a person's not being able to find a job.</li><li>It is a really common problem in Turkey.</li><li>It is mostly seen among young ages</li></ul><div><em><mark>What we want to know</mark></em></div><ul><li>What can the government do to solve it?</li><li>What is the current unemployment rate in Turkey?</li><li>What is the reason for unemployment?</li></ul><div><em><mark>What we learned</mark></em></div><ul><li>Decreasing taxes, lowering interest rates, creating job opportunities like constructing a public transportation line</li><li>According to the <a href="https://www.tuik.gov.tr/Home/Index">Turkish Statistical Institute</a> "The unemployment rate in Turkey stood at 11.2 percent in November 2021, unchanged from October's four-month low. The number of unemployed increased by 39 thousand from the previous month to 3.777 million and employment levels rose by 228 thousand to 29.855 million. Job gains occurred in all sectors: services (up 95 thousand); industry (up 73 thousand); agriculture (up 49 thousand); and construction (up 10 thousand). Meanwhile, the labor underutilization dropped to 22.1 percent from 22.8 percent a month earlier; while the youth jobless rate for those aged between 15-24 years was up 1.7 percentage points at 22.3 percent."
