I think may struggle coming up with initial ideas but I believe that once I have a good solid plan that I will be able work through this task with very few issues, and produce a television advertisement.

Strategy No: 1
Create a fictional situation that closely related to a real scenario and use dark lighting and certain camera angles to show danger and illicit fear in the viewers.

In this scenario a group friends could be at a party when one becomes intoxicated. The intoxicated friends slips into a state on unconsciousness. The friends continue to party forgetting about the unconscious person at the party or then dies due to drowning in their sleep. Then a narrator explain what happened, why and how to prevent it.

Strategy No:2
Have a narration over the situation to provide context and assist the viewers understanding of the advertisement.

The film would start off with a shot of some friends drinking at some kind of party. One person at the party would offer another an unknown pill. A narration would play explaining where drugs are made, images of "drug labs" will be shown on screen.

Strategy No:3
Have some statistics appear on screen while a bad situation is unfolding at a party along with a narration. Along with some call to action and then, preferably a short quote that is easy to remember.

The film starts with a group of young people gathered at a party. They can be seen drinking and engaging in conversations with one another. The camera will pan over a large area in an extreme long shot so everyone can be seen. The camera will zoom in on one group of friends standing in a circle, all of whom will consume a mystery white pill.

The camera will then zoom in further on one person in the circle who refuses to take on of the pills, but the others are encouraging them to do so. The hesitant person will then take the pill and the screen will fade to black. A narration will play along with photographs of dumpster and comparing them with photographs of home drug labs.

The camera will fade back in to person taking the pill then a message will show up on screen "do you know where your pills were made?"
