It all started with my elementary school art teacher who introduced me to Keith Haring, the spark that started the fire that is my work. Throughout my life, I’ve not only gained inspiration from other artists but through music. I gain most of my ideas through my favorite genres of music ranging from Alternative to House music. Music gave me the ability to think of my own visuals. For example, I’d listen to a song and it’s like a scene of a movie plays in my head where I’d see the song I’m listening to play in the background. Another example would be from the Rave community and the visual artists for these DJs never fails to inspire me and my work.  Without music, the majority of my work would cease to exist.

My goal for people when they witness my art is to have them stop thinking about everything else that’s going on in their life for just a second and remain present, feeling any and all emotions. Art gives the viewer the opportunity to see what goes on in the minds of others but from a creative point of view. I plan to expand my work by creating bigger pieces as well as using materials/mediums that I have yet to explore like manipulating woods/metals and learning how to create 3D designs/rendering.
