Some organisms which benefit from the presence of mangroves are ¾ of all fish in the water start their life along the roots of the mangroves meaning they could be seen as a preferred area of fish to lay eggs and it is generally safe for prey. Coral reefs and mangroves have a symbiotic relationship, the trees trap the mud and sad in their roots and prevent it from smothering the coral. Also, snails could benefit from the presence of mangroves since the roots could be used as homes and as protection for them.

Many fish start their lives next to mangroves. Crabs also benefit from mangroves. Coral reefs and mangroves have a symbiotic relationship, meaning they both help each other out, if sand comes in quickly, instead of getting to the coral, they go to the mangroves. These plants benefit humans because since fish are around mangroves we can sell these fish and earn profit.
