A difference between the explorations were that there were different noises that meant different things. The two are similar because like the 2 explorers, Marco Polo was stuck in Iran for a long time. Even with the similarities, there were some differences with the explorations. One difference is that Marco Polo wasn't held up as long as the 2 travelers to travel along and the people moved more freely.
