Yes because they should have the same rights as everyone just because we are girls doesn't. Just because we are woman doesn't mean we shouldn't be aloud in combat. Just because we woman doesn't we all aren't strong cause the woman out their fighting are doing a good job at it. I know it's dangerous but a lot of woman like fighting for their country. Me personally I wouldn't want to join because I already got my future planned and I wouldn't want to ruin it. But everyone should have the same rights to do what they want. but this is only my opinion everyone has their own opinion.

Women should not have combat roles in the military. These roles are too dangerous. We should protect our women. Think about it. When it comes to a military draft, the draft is for men only. Do you think that women should be drafted? Putting women in combat roles is dangerous. If captured as prisoners, women can be sexually exploited. Also, the presence of women can be a distraction to the men who are fighting. We want our men to be focused. We want our women to be safe from the dangers that are present in combat. As a woman, I want to remain safe from the draft and help other women to be safe as well. By nature, women are more compassionate than men. Studies show that a woman will more likely swerve into a car in oncoming traffic rather than hit the deer in her lane, while men will maintain their lane and hit the deer. We need to let research, and the obvious difference between the way men and women are built to be our guide in these matters. Think about it. There is a REASON that women will not be appearing on the field at the Superbowl this Sunday!!!!!!!! Next, we will be putting children into combat. Not good.

Under current policy, women in the Marine Corps are held to a less-rigorous physical standard due to the obvious physical differences. It’s a physiological fact that women have less upper body strength compared to men—yet the physical demands of combat won’t change.

Currently, women have higher rates of discharge for medical disability that prevents them from finishing their enlistment, or re-enlistment. Stress and muscular deterioration in women comes on faster and harder due to the heavy gear and physical duress in the field environment.

Muscle atrophy, hip displacement, and arthritis in knees and joints are common ailments. Spinal compression occurs from long periods of heavy combat loads.

This is the hard reality of how extended field time and intense physical standards take their toll. Women’s bodies simply aren’t designed for the fatigue of field operations with heavy field gear and weapons on less muscular body frames. Luis: Many of the advocates of this policy had support roles that never required them to sleep in mud, bathe without privacy and relieve themselves in the open.

Yes, because we all should have the same rights as americans. Also we are a " free " country so women should have equal rights as men. Putting women in combat is just as dangerous as a man in combat. Women can have the same skills as men in combat.

I think that women should be in combat roles in the military. They should have the same rights as men do in the military. They should also be able to serve in the military if they want to it is their choice if they want to be in combat roles. Men can't make decisions for the women and tell them that they can't be in the military. There is a lot of women that are in the military and I think that should be allowed to be in combat roles and I appreciate the women being in there.

yes because they should have the same rights as men. I don'n't think its fair that women aren't aloud to be in combat. I know that men might be stronger physically but I feel like women are stronger mentally . I feel like women get titled as weak because we aren't physically strong. Me personally I wouldn't want to join the military, but I think that those women who are willing to join combat roles should be able to.
