Scouts character develops more when she decides she doesn't want them going there anymore and that he deserved for his privacy to be respected just as theirs. 
- Jem: During the story Jem decided he didn't want Scout to talk to him at school. The shows him growing up but also him wanting Scout to respect his privacy as he didn't want to be seen with her. 
- Boo: Throughout most of the story Harper Lee made the town think of Boo as a creepy, mysterious man and then develops him as a better guy when he helps stitch Jems pants and puts a blanket on Scout so they start to think of him differently towards the end.

  • Scouts decision not to go back to Boo's house shows one of her qualities of respecting his privacy which shows that she is a respectful to Boo's privacy. 
  • Jem's decision to want to go back to get his pants shows that Jem does not like get in trouble from Atticus so he is willing to go back to Boo's house and invade his privacy instead of respecting his privacy. 
  • Atticus respects Boo's and Ms. Dubose privacy by ordering Jem and Scout not to mess with or disturb them and leave them alone.

For example, after the kids kept going in Boo Radley's yard. Dill also created a game about him and the house as a way of making fun of him. Eventually, Atticus convinced the kids to leave him alone and stop taunting him and respect his privacy. There was also an internal conflict that went on with Scout she didn't want to keep bothering and messing with Boo Radley. Another example Harper Lee used for conflict is when Jem went in Mrs. Dubose yard and cut up her flowers.     • Scout/Jem: When Scout went to school Jem decided that interacting with Scout during school was not a good idea so their relationship weakened from that point Scout respected his privacy and did not bother him
    • Miss Caroline/Students: On Scout's first day of school Miss Caroline didn't think about the students situations and told a student to go home and take a shower proves she wasn't thinking about their situation and their private information such as income.
