As the years go on the female median income is going up. This created peace between the genders. The woman were fighting for the income to go up.

This tells us that life in the cold war was mundane for westerners but there was still fear of some sort of conflict evident by the bunkers, but life seemed mostly chill for the west.

People living a pretty normal life, there were some technological advances, people had bomb shelters in case they needed one, women gained workers' rights, EEC had expansions.

This created peace because there was more equality as well as the people felt safe and were happy. Life was also easier due to the technological advancements.

It also showing that people are trying to gain peace, and also they are trying to get on track again after two world wars. It is also showing that people are becoming more concerned about the nuclear powers in the world

-It is mostly positive, but there is Manufacturing, Unity for countries, Wadges go up, Free Trade, Televisions, and Womens rights had increased! (everything was good beside the war happening :D)

This is creating peace because it is giving more rights to women and people are able to be mostly economically safe. Countries work together to reach a level of welfare and this creates peace as well. Parents/guardians are also happy to be able to take care of their children and children are being taken care of.

Life in the West was become a more modern world, and they were advancing in life. People were economically dependent on the governments, but since the governments were providing welfare, the people were happy. Industries were booming and it was a pretty peaceful life despite the threat of being bombed.

What Does This Tell Us About Life in the West During Cold War?

1. I noticed a family watching a women play drums. This picture is creating peace because, the children wife and husband seem to be happy and enjoying the moment. This shows that in this current moment most families were able to buy cars and new innovations that were invested so life seemed pretty well in the early cold war.

2. I see a graph from the Bureau of Labor Statistics it is showing that men and women's wages were leveling out and becoming equal toward the 90's. I am going to interpret this graph as creating peace because its good knowing wages are leveling out and increasing as time goes on. This tells me that the cold war lifestyle was horrible for women, and they were getting treated terribly and not being paid.

   4. I see a lot of cars being made in West Germany, I also noticed a man who was underneath, and they had to have been new cars which makes sense. This picture could go both ways honestly for creating peace, because everyone was able to have new cars and tv and other new stuff, but the stock market crashed really bad, but this was in Germany but I'm not sure how bad they were affected. The cold war was the worst toward the end and did not take long to get better honestly.
