Das Zuknallen der schweren Eingangstür hallt im Foyer wider, um die Ecke brummt unablässig der Snackautomat, aus dem ersten Stock dringt ein schallendes Lachen. Tag für Tag betreten Studierende, Lehrende und Mitarbeiter*innen der Hochschule für Bildende Künste Dresden das Hochschulgebäude auf der Güntzstraße 34. 
In diesen Räumlichkeiten begegnen sie einer Vielzahl von Geräuschen und Klängen, die charakteristisch sind für den Alltag an der Kunsthochschule. 
Was erzählt diese akustische Szenerie? Welche Erinnerungen und Geschichten liegen in ihr verborgen, die Auskunft geben könnten über Vergangenheit, Gegenwart und Zukunft des Lebens an der HfBK? Und woher kommt auf einmal dieses kratzende Geräusch?

SCHRAPP SCHRAPP BUFF ZONG ist ein künstlerisches Forschungsprojekt zur auditiven Wahrnehmung von Raum und Imagination. Es untersucht das narrative und immersive Potential von binauralen Soundwelten und ihre Bedeutung für das bühnen-bildnerische Schaffen.

Ausgerüstet mit Binauralen Kunstkopfmikrofonen erkunden sie die gewohnte Umgebung erstmalig mit einem Fokus auf den Hörsinn. 
Ausgehend von ihren Aufnahmen bringen wir die Geräusche im zweiten Schritt in einem Augmented Audio Reality Walk in neu arrangierten Kompositionen an die Orte ihrer Entstehung zurück.
