Ms. Smyth, I’ve truly had such a great time in your Grade 12 English class! You were always so helpful, thoughtful, and knew how to make every day enjoyable. Your encouragement meant a lot, and I will always remember you as one of the best teachers I’ve ever had. I’m definitely going to miss this class and school but I’m grateful for the experience and all the memories. I don’t really like goodbyes, so I’ll just say see you later.

Miss Smyth, you've truly been one of the best teachers I have ever had. You helped me to finally enjoy English class, and your class was one I could attend every week without feeling an ounce of stress because I knew you wanted each and every one of your students to succeed and would give us whatever help we needed in order to do that. I'll miss having such an awesome teacher to support me, but you made my final year in high school the most enjoyable one! Thank you so, so much for all that you've done. Keep being you, and I'm sure many more students will come to appreciate your generosity, helpful spirit, and wonderful teaching skills!

Hello Ms. Smyth. Thank you for teaching me English this semester, and writers craft last semester. You are an amazing teacher, and get along with us so well. You actually understand us, and what you're teaching and stuff. I enjoyed how we talked about stuff in open office and class. It was very interactive and you were someone we could actually talk to about things. You didn't feel like a teacher to me, it felt more like you had the information and it's your job to tell us what we're supposed to learn, but you could also talk about stuff outside of that, and you could talk about your own thoughts on the work we had to do, and the stories we had to read. I don't know how to explain it, it's almost like you were learning with us, so it was a discussion to figure things out. I really enjoyed it. I wish I could tell you where I end up in the future, if I end up traveling or not, or where I go. I really liked how you were more interested in the creative side of this, and not academic. I agree with your approach to teaching this subject, and I wish everyone did it the same way. Thank you for everything!
