From what I have seen in Tundra Buddies Daycare during my practicum, I noticed that the staff there are always working together. They have days where this (specific) person does chores according to their schedule and they take turns everyday. And in the classroom(s), teachers work together in everything they do - For example; Snack time, outdoor play, cleaning up, planning, activities. Even children at the daycare, they work together by playing together, doing arts and crafts, eating together, tidying.

Since I started doing my practicum I have seen daycare workers working together and making sure everything is going how it’s suppose to. It has 5 classroom and it each classroom there’s 2-3 or 4 people working and they work together so well in order to get the day going. They work together through lunch time and making sure everyone goes for their lunch or break time. Working together to let the students be safe, working together to let them finish their work. They communicate through little walkie talkie making sure everyone ate. Before giving out work stuff or art stuff they make sure everyone is ready to do their work and they communicate on what they will do.

From what I have seen in Tundra Buddies Daycare during my practicum, I noticed the staff there are always respecting each others, and caring for people. During lunchtime I noticed a child didn’t want to eat and than other child who was sitting next to that child that didn’t want to eat too, so the teacher said if you have a bite and give it a try, so they did have a bite and when they finished their lunch those two children asked for more.

Being respectful of our surroundings and other people that is around us. Our land needs the most respect if we want to keep our traditions. We have to teach the children too that having our land clean that it means that our water that we drink can be healthy to drink and the animals that we harvest and eat needs to be healthy and needs food to eat out on the land.
