Goal: You might not get to the final answer, and that’s ok! The goal is more about thinking how counting becomes more advanced and so do our methods… for example, we have to make sure not to count any one strategy twice!

The math that can be in it is counting from sunrise to sunset and how many days to fast.

One of my favorite things is baking

The math that goes into that is the timing and temp you need to bake at and the fractions of measurements

when cooking you have to calculate the amount of each ingredient you need as well as how long you need to cook it.

something that connects to my background is dancing. I've been dancing ever since I was 4.

Math shows up in dancing through 8 counts. Each step has a count within the 8 count.

I chose basketball and the math that is used in it is having to bounce the ball at a certain angle to ensure a good pass.

Like this year my parents payed just 10-12,000 dollars in dance fees. So I had so wait a couple of months to get a car after getting my license

I feel like identity out of the 5 Pursuits of happiness is most important during my school experience because I feel as though as you grow older, you begin to develop your own identity and it's interesting watching everyone's identity in school be different, or similar to others, or just unique in it's own way.

If I could speak to the adults in the video I would want to try and get them to understand that students need to feel important just as much as teachers.

math is implemented in cheer because everything we do is done with counts, every motion and skill is done while counting so everyone is on one accord
