Task 6: Evaluation and reflection. 
(Unit 1 & 2: 1.3 & 1.3)
Know: On Monday I rehearsed my power point presentation. This activity helped to gain confidence and practise what I am going to say about the images that I taken and how to present them. 

Do: The skills that I used was using my words to present my work to my partner and using a timer to be able to time it so it is on two minutes. I found this really fun to do.

Improve: I can improve on my language features and go more in detail of explanation of what I have done to edit and why. Task 5: Final Shoot and Presentation.
(Unit 1 & 2: 1.3 & 1.3)
Know: The activity that helped me to my knowledge as well as developed my skills is practising taking photos and preparing me to take my final 4 images but for each formal element (Line, Shape, Texture, Colour) but I took 40 images in total I done this to get used to picking out my top 4 images that I am going to submit and use in my pretension in which I will present in front of my class mates. I didn't know how to take pictures on a DSLR Camera. But I learnt how to use it as the weeks went on. 

Do: I applied every skill that I learnt from over the 5 weeks leading up to this Final Shoot e.g. one new skill I applied is editing skills that I learnt on PhotoShop tools that I never knew how to use. One thing I am proud of is my new PhotoShop skills (using the Black and White took, Blur tool and lasso tool).

Show: I will be presenting my Final Photos in front of my class mates. I am nervous but hopefully I can through it and be more confident as I go along and take my time as well. I will be putting a picture down ant the end of the page as it is one of my Final and edited Photographs.

Improve: I need to make my work a bit more neater on the presentation so it is more presentable and to get to that distinction. Task 5: Plan Shoot.
(Unit 1: 1.2)
Know: This week we have done many things from mind map to practising our final shoot. But doing the mind has helped to my knowledge as it has helped me getting to grip by planing what i am going to do in my final projects. By doing this, it has helped develop my skills in planing and as made it a lot easier to refer to. To be honest I have learnt everything which was new to me but I have learnt to do and know what a mind map is. But another thing that I have learnt is to write out how to write out a Risk assessment plan. And scouting out the location for one of my shoots.

Do: My new skills I had applied was writing the proposal as at first I found it difficult to write but as Karl was telling me how to write a proposal properly and the tips that he told me I applied it to my writing skills and this had helped me go really far with my writing. Within this task I was really proud of myself. To present this I had put it on my showbie>task 4 folder. Also presented this is on my mind map this is also on showbie it is yet to be finished.

Show: I had presented all my work on showbie as well as on my pre-production mind map. The mind maps are of Line Texture, Shape, Colour. The evidence will be a picture below of Week 4. But the Link to my mind map is here=

Improve: To improve a could finish the 3rd and forth mind map to help me plan out the rest of the plan. During next session I will be applying a different range of skills that I have learnt for example going into Deltas next lesson I will apply the writing techniques that Karl Adamson has taught me as it helped me go through with the final shoot of proposal.

Photography Workshops.
(Unit 2: 1.1 & 1.2)
Know: During Week 3 in this project It learnt the Photoshop basics and this helped me to my knowledge to get used to the Photoshop software and will help me develop my future skills when I use it again soon. Also it helped me and makes me feel a bit more confident when using the Photoshop software. I didn't know how to use the DSLR Nikon camera and the tripod but since I had these workshops I have found it more easier to use.

Do: When I was using Photoshop I applied my skills of using all the different tools that I have learnt to use such as, Black and White tool in image editing as well as the lasso tool to pick out single things I wanted, and the contrast tool as well. I completed the task by using three edited photos and editing them on Photoshop. The barriers I had was at the begging as I was not familiar with this software but now I can use the basic tools and apply them to the photo that I was editing. One thing I was proud of is that I could apply my new skills to the photo and that I could upload them onto showbie so my work can be submitted. In my opinion I like my edited photos because I can now use arrange of tools to make my project more interesting.

Show: I presented my work by post them onto a padlet self and then posting that onto showbie and out through this week I have learnt something new every session I have. I have included evidence to my project and to this diary entry to the bottom of the page of Week 3.

Improve: Within my work I could improve on a lot of things like I need to use the tool a bit better than just going straight in with it so basically I just need to plan ahead and figure out what tools I am going to need, to make my editing a bit better than just a practice one. I am planing to use lasso tool and the Black and White tool as well. I am going to use the lasso tool to cut out the item/object I am going to need to stay in colour.  Also I'm going to use the Black and White adjustment tool to create an affect to this photo that I am going to use.

Task 2: Replicate Formal Elements.
(Unit 1: 1.1 & 1.2)
Know: The knowledge that I understand of the formal Elements is that I can tell the Line, Texture, Shape as well as Colour. I had a go of mirroring the original photos that I had researched on. This has helped me through the week by getting used to go out and about looking for a similar object.

Do: When I went out to get pictures to replicate the originals, I used a range of different equipment and resources to help me to become successful with this week. One of the equipment that I used was the IPad, I had taken the IPad out to get the photos to recreate the original photos I had done research on. Another resource I used was Photoshop to edit the photos that I had taken to make it closer to the original possible. During this week I went all around the Harlow College Campus and The Town Shopping Centre, as this gave me more freedom to be more creative. I had not used any props to help me with this week. The only objects I had used is the things around e.g nature (Flowers, Bushes).

Improve: I can improve by getting used to the PhotoShop software to get it even more close as the originals. Task 1: 4 Formal Elements Study.
(Unit 1: 1.1 & 1.2)
 
During the week we had been doing a range if things during our activity with Karl. We had to find photos on Google images that we needed comment and analysis for every photo I found. This activity helped me with knowledge and skills. It helped me with getting to get used to analysis and comment on a range of photographs. Before i started this activity i already knew how to do my research on that specific type of photography and as well as the photographer.

The skills that I learn and that i had applied to this task is terminology. Another new skill I applied is analysing the photo to look into depth of the photo. During the activity I had no barriers that i was stuck with and i think my seating plan i good to work in. The one thing i am proud of is that i was able to develop and expand on my commenting on every image that i found hard to do.
