It is called "Give Me Your Eyes" and it was recommended to me by one of my best friends, and I only found out that it was about God when I looked up the meaning of the song! This song has won 3 awards in the 49th GMA Dove Awards, and One Emmy, all in 2009. Brandon Heath was kind of a troubled kid, and he says that he found out his calling in life through God and found forgiveness in Him and learned to forgive others in the same way. Born to Cuban parents in France, Nin was the daughter of composer Joaquín Nin and Rosa Culmell, a classically trained singer. She was born in 1903 and died in 1977. My favorite poem by her is one called "Risk" which shows the struggles of her choosing whether or not to stay in her norm, or to venture out more. This poem is one of my favorites because I like how it resonates with how I also think. In this particular song, though, Sunmi explains that she had lost her love for a significant other and she is telling him to go away, as it has become a one-sided love. Sunmi was a part of one of the more Iconic groups of South Korea's pop industry called Wonder Girls, and pretty much was their version of The Beatles, in comparison to how famous they were. She is only about 27, and debuted in 2007 with Wonder Girls, and since her debut, has made songs expressing how she feels since the band's disbandment, and how she feels about society. The song portrays her feelings, her actions, and what her friends thought about all of this stuff going on with her.
