1852 - She attends her first women's rights convention.

1869 - Susan B Anthony calls the first Woman Suffrage Convention in Washington D.C.

1872 - She is arrested for voting in  and is indicted in Albany and she continues to lecture and attend conventions.

1892 - Susan B Anthony becomes president of the National Womens Suffarge Association.

1920 – The 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Though she wasnt alive during the passing of the 19th Amendment her work helped lead to the passing of it.

Anthony was a pioneer to the womens sufferage movement and was ahead of her time. After the passing of the 15th ammendment in 1870 Susan tried to vote during the next election in 1872 she was arrested and fined for her crime. This was injustice for her and many others and brought lots of attention to the Womens Suffarge Movement. Susan spent her life working for womans rights and this injustice she had just faced led her to make the National Womens Suffarge Association. She traveled the country giving speaches and getting signatures for her petitions. She led the National Womens Suffarge Association til 1900 and passed away in 1906. She may not have lived to see the 19th amendemt pass, giving woman the right to vote but was one of the main causes of it. Susan shined light on not only the struggles of woman back then but also the sturggles of african americans and the problems they faced.
