Students will be asked to show how their native language and target language help to shape their answers. For example, if their native language is English and the target language is Spanish, the student might demonstrate why they want to learn the target language (participate in/understand a new culture or cultures). By being able to explain how language functions in their own lives, students will have successfully demonstrated understanding of this unit.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
