I plan on interviewing my mother who has lost her first husband. A part of me is very curious and excited for this, because I feel like this is an experience that could grow our bond and turn out to be something very beautiful in the end. However, there is also a duality in that surfacing this long settled grief could be very painful and ugly in a sense. This picture shows the conflicted feelings I have for the interview.
