Jie and Weiqng: Of course we think it very crucial, applying the achievement triangle theory from Gary and students as a main body from education, they have rights to raise what they want to learn.

Tongzhou: Teachers need to be reflective. students may be too young to give some effective suggestions about teaching.
If we do not reflect on students' ideas, sometimes it may be difficult to follow our own lesson plan and we may run out of time.

Q2: it's hard to balance the individuality and collectivity in real teaching. we may need to cope with this question case by case. for group tasks and activities, we prefer value collectivity more.

Firstly it is crucial to know and understand each student so that we as teachers would have the necessary information to make our teaching relevant to individual needs, yet at the same time we would be able to draw on their similarities in our classroom.

Secondly we need to be aware of the intersection between knowing our students and knowing our practice. By covering most materials we address the class as whole, and then through providing different scaffolding and leveled questions we speak to individual needs as well.

Teachers should get to know your students first so that you'll know what similarities and differences they have. Then teachers should design activities and teaching methods accordingly.

Collectivity -- fulfilment of content and culture objectives (all students will benefit from this)

Individuality -- provide scafolding to provide individual needs; time to share personal opinions
