I picked this novel because its by author who wrote the hate you give. I really enjoy that book so when I saw that she made this book I started reading I got draw into it. 

Whats going on at the start of the book?
Its about girl named Bri she wants to become a rapper she gets a call from famous rap battles saying she gets to rap against  other people. She gets dream  about how her father gets killed by a drive her mom went on drugs after he was dead. She got herself clean. 

How does the author draw you in?
