iMovie - iMovie is very simple and doesn't have a lot of editing options, it does the basics e.g changing the effect from normal to black and white. You can add songs and music and there are a lot of sound effects to choose from but the music on the software can only be played for about 1 minute and there isn't many to choose from. There isn't a lot of choices with the themes and there is only two animation effects and they are just black fade in and black fade out. I would only use it if I wanted to make a little video but would have to be very basics as there isn't much you can do with it.

Garage band - this is used to play, record and share music that you make with the instruments that are on the app that are pianos guitars and drums and other instruments there is also a range of one instruments so there are different guuitars and pianos so you can have different sounds. It can be used to make music for videos or just for fun, you don't need to be able to play the instruments to use the app. You can also record your voice over the instruments to make a song, the only disadvantage that I think is that it can be a difficult doing the recording and saving the music and that side of the app where as the actually playing of the instruments is so easy.

Spreaker Studio - This is an app for recording audio, it can record voices so you can either make your own sound effects or just record someone speaker. it also has its own sound effects there's not many but you can record your own ones. you can only record up to 30 minutes and you don't have to keep stopping the recording you can record pause then carrying on record and press and say what ever in that time you can speak and also press the sound effects so its just over lapse your voice and you can use as many sound effects at once. You cant use images so I would record it and use a different software on my ipad and just past it together.

voice recorder - this app if really easy to use the record button is on the bottom strip and its has the record play and pause button there so its easy to navigate and the save button is there as well and they can also be put into folders and folders inside folder so they can be put together for one project. there isn't anything special it is just an record app you can put sound effects on or edit them so it is just plain and simple and is easy to use. I would use it to record interviews and people speaking and then use other software to edit stuff on.

The app simpl is for making an interactive website that can be used from an ipad or iphone so you can update the website from your device from wherever you are easily. There are a quite a few different theme option that have different styles to one theme. The home page logo of the word Simpl. Isn’t too complicated and is just simple good font and easy to write. The website details are very basic just has the Facebook and twitter name and the copyright name. Adding a photo and video is very easy just a couple of clicks and you can add them very easily. Uploading is a bit harder to do as there isn’t a simple button to press to get it up like adding photos but once you have figured it out it easy. Publishing your website by pressing the publish button
