Up to now, Saigon Zoo and Botanical Garden is nurturing more than 1,300 animals of 125 species, including many rare species such as: star pheasant, douc, yellow-cheeked gibbon, yellow deer, fire leopard, clouded leopard. There are also more than 2,500 trees with more than 900 species of plants preserved. ... and more are being added.

So even though it's in the city, the air here is quite fresh with the sounds of animals, birds and countless green trees and beautiful flowers... Moreover, the Zoo and Botanical Garden also has the role of education and conservation, and research...

In Sai Gon zoo, we can visit The Museum of Vietnamese History, which which preserves and displays tens of thousands of precious artifacts collected at home and abroad in Vietnam. Especially, there have an intact mummy more than a hundred years ago is being stored and displayed at the museum.

So the Saigon zoo is not just a tourist attraction. Its aim to educate people about the improtant of environmental places in our lives and to protect which are in danger 

Thao Cam Vien was called “Saigon zoos”, it has many animals as elephants, turtles, deer, …etc. The two largest architectural works are 

Temple of Hung Kings and Vietnam history museum. This temple has ancient and meaningful structure.

The other attraction in Saigon Zoo is the art performances that are regularly held on weekends, holidays and festivals. Another meaningful activity held in Thao Cam Vien is to participate in the animal conservation program, protect the environmental landscape. Schools in Ho Chi Minh City and other places will often organize this teaching activity to provide students with the most intuition and experience of nature.

Moreover, Thao Cam Vien is not only a tourist attraction, but also educate people about the importance of animals in our lives. People need to conserve animals to keep growing avoid extinction.

Located on 2B Nguyen Binh Khiem (Nguyễn Bỉnh Khiêm), Ho Chi Minh (Hồ Chí Minh), Thao Cam Vien Park – Ho Chi Minh’s Zoo established in 1864 and opened to the public on February 17, 1869. This park today becomes one of the largest and the best recreational areas in Ho Chi Minh city.. As the cultural place of Ho Chi Minh City and the place preserving plant life, this park is attracting more and more visitors and travelers to come for a visit. For example students, tourists and anyone who is interested in the nature.

The Saigon Zoo Thao Cam Vien Park features an area of about 33 hectares and it is divided into several areas: plants, animals and the orchid collection. This zoo houses more than 500 animals including white tigers, monkeys, hippos, elephants, lions, snakes, turtles, etc. The botanical garden has various fauna and flora including more than 260 plant species from Laos, India and Cambodia, and 1800 trees with some at more than 100 years old. There are also 32 different species of cactus, 20 orchid types, and 34 species of bonsai. In the zoo, you can find a mishmash of gardens, Ferris wheels, animal enclosures, kiddie pools, bumper cars, and snack shops.

In the Thao Cam Vien – Park have different places for plants, animals, the orchild collection, the children's amusement park. Besides we can camp on holidays there. It's also a great place to try.

So it can be said that this is an important place because it is a place to educate the community and protect endangered species of flora and fauna.

It has two bell towers that reached a height of 58 meters. In front of the church, there is a park and a Statue of Our Lady of Peace. It can hold up to 1,200 people to visit the cathedral. Inside there are lots of statues such as Saint Joseph statue, Saint Anne statue, Our Lady of Fátima statue, etc.
In addition, all the materials that were used to build the cathedral were imported from France. Many people visit here every year because of its unique structures.
