I  want to be seen as smart and kind 
I ponder of the complexity of the mind
I hear sweet nothings 
I see beautiful mornings 
I want to change the future of mankind 
I want to be seen as smart and kind

I pretend to be a jedi, please don’t laugh 
I feel as time can stop, like an old photograph 
I touch the cold winter breeze
I worry about death and disease
I cry when a family member dies
I want to be seen as smart and kind
 
I understand that the life isn’t as simple as it seems 
I say my thoughts and my silliest dreams
I dream that a dream could invigorate yet deceive 
I try to create art usually fail miserably 
I hope that this poem explain who i am
I am smart and kind.
