An engineered geothermal system is how the energy from the rock would be used. In operation, cold water is injected down one borehole, picks up heat from the rock and is pumped back up to the surface at about 180°C. Hot water then runs through a binary cycle turbine to make electricity. Some advantages are that it is the only renewable energy resource not affected by the weather and recent research has shown that geothermal energy could provide up to 20% of the UK's current electricity demand, and a vast amount of heating. Biocontrol is when the  natural parasites and predotors of the pests are used to control the numbers. The biocontrol organism only prey on the pest species and will not harm to the insect in the bio.  Actually pesticides can be harmful to humans so when they spray it in biome the biome  will close to visitor. some pesticide can completely eradicate the whole pest population. Unfortunately the pestcides they spray are harmful to our biocontrol organism as well as the pest species. Biocontrol organism struggle to control the pest population if they have grown too large. Pest ruin the appearance of the plants and reduce the amount of fruit and vegitables that they produce.
