I'm traveling with my two friends Shreya and Eshana. We booked our tickets way in advance so our total roundtrip cost came out to $137 per person. We went whale-watching at Back Bay in the late morning. Our reason for going whale-watching was because we felt that it was an opportunity we could only get in the upper East Coast and definitely not where we lived. Afterwards, we got lunch at Luke's Lobster Back Bay because it is a well known restaurant and we wanted to get seafood in Boston since it is a specialty here. We learned a lot about the historical events that occurred in Boston and some of the scientific breakthroughs that were made in and around the city as well. We saw lots of beautiful flowers and plants and greenery in general. Later, we visited the famous Boston Public Library and admired it's architecture. We got to see things that we would never have been able to seen in Chicago, like whales, but we also were able to make some connections to Chicago with things like museums and gardens.
