Nelson Mandela was born on 18th July 1918, he was a South African politician and activist. Mandela himself was educated at University College of Fort Hare and the University of Witwatersrad where he studied law. He fought against the Apartheid with another lawyer: Oliver Tamboo. He was the vice-president of an important political party called The African National Congress (ANC). In 1960 the ANC became illegal, but Mandela continued his activities and he was arrested for 26 years.He won the Nobel peace Prize. Mandela died on 5th december 2013 from a respiratory tract infection.

Martin Luther King was born ON January 15TH, 1929, in Atlanta in Georgia in the United States. He was an African American church minister. He become the leaders of the Civil Rights Movement. LIttle Martin soon realizes that the color of HIS skin WAS an apparently insurmontable obstacle. Becoming AWARE of this unacceptable discrimination, he dedicated HIS body and soul to the study graduating in philosophy and becoming a pastor, and then began his unstoppable and peaceful battle against racial segregation. He was assasinated in April 1968, in Memphis.
