Examples of urban landscapes are cities, towns, villages, places where humans have influenced and adapted to suit us (to house a population and support our lifestyles) A lot of the times cities are large and grey, filled with concrete and minimal green space (however nature is now becoming more popular in larger cities like Sydney, Melbourne, etc.) Cities are known for higher density populations. People use this "landform" as places to live, work, relax, go shopping, hang out with family and friends, etc! Positives of this landform include: 

-Bringing together family and friends 

-Housing people 

-Jobs, Shopping, Having fun* 

-Cities are usually the center of activities 

Some negatives are things like polluting the environment, there's always things going on, can be unsafe, using up a lot of resources, often in cities there is a fair bit of litter which is a negative for both the city environment as well as the nature surrounding.  

Rivers commonly have high/sloped banks on either side. They are generally not very deep, usually around 5 meters. In Australia there are only two types of native freshwater fish. These native fish include trout and perch. They also are habitat for other semi-aquatic animals such as freshwater crayfish and frogs. Rivers also provide a home for a lot of bugs, which intern, provide food for fish and other animals bigger than them. If rivers are large enough, they can be used to create hydro power. Fishing is the main use for rivers. positive impacts upon rivers are just protecting them for ourselves. Making sure we don't destroy them is the only form of conservation we can artificially insert into an environment that helps rivers, aside for fertilizing the river bed. We can also have very negative effects on a river system. for instance, erosion happens when the land around a river is stocked and the animals have access to the river. deforestation also ruins river systems, the roots of trees and shrubs hold the bank together and disallows erosion.

Negative impact: people can die from mountains including lack of oxygen, falling and avalanches.

Sinkholes are funnel shaped with the wide opening at the surface and the narrow opening at the bottom of the pool. They can vary from shallow pools at about 1 meter to 50 meter deep pools. Water can drain through the sinkhole to a underground channel or cave. Humans activity can create sinkholes from drilling, mining, water breaks and drain pipes. 

 

Karsts is a landscape made out of limestone. Karsts can be worn away from the top or dissolved through a weak point in the rock. Karsts are formed through caves, sinkholes and underground streams. Karsts are shaped through the dissolving of the carbonated rock which is limestone.

Humans can affect karsts by the mining of phosphate in the caves and water management like water supply and sewerage treatment plants.
