Your goal should be to make the reader feel the same thing the character is experiencing in the story. He finally worked up the nerve to leave a very special note in her locker, he just had to get there before her. He had butterflies in his stomach, he started to sweat, he got real warm, he felt his ears burning up. He made it to her locker after what felt an eternity. He saw her at the end of the dim lighted hall and turned beet red. He crammed the note through the slot in the dull grey locker, and darted off.

Whereas animals that look odd or scary tend to intimidate people and cause them to dislike the animal because of their appearances.

What findings discussed in the article are similar to what is discussed in the story? Cite a piece of evidence from the article to support your answer. The humans hate the 1st bunch of aliens because they aren't so easy on the eyes, but they love the second group because they are in the form of what humans wish to be and almost picture perfect even though they cant understand them. its the same with animals almost "As you can see, people thought cute animals, like dolphins and koalas, deserved more moral consideration than less attractive species, like bats and boars"

In your own experience, are the article's findings accurate? Have you ever experienced or witnessed what the article discusses? yes i think that cows are so cute, but my sister on the other hand doesnt really, and she hates cows just because they are "big and ugly" and she finds them intimidating. https://padlet.com/hcourson1/american-lit-comp-11-js5kix0k608q1f6q/wish/2583909431

Would you ever be interested in living a place like Green Bank, WV? Why or why not? Yes, i used to live pretty closeish to green bank, and its kind of pretty up there and its super nice and is surrounded by woods and its a great place to relax.

Do you think it's ethical for parents of children in that area to force them to live there? yes and no i feel that as children get older they should be exposed to technology before they leave.

What benefits and/or detriments does this kind of community offer? benefits would be less stress, friendlier people, its relaxing, better mental health and calm. but it does kind of isolate you from the world
