In the reports of BBC News, " Pollution levels have risen and air quality has deteriorated..." this event caused an 27% boost in pollution in China. The acid rain caused severe environmental destruction.
China's government then took a pledge to clean up the polluted air. But that pledge has yet to be done.

This oil spill was the largest spill in the history of the oil drilling operations.

Due to tragic of the Deepwater Horizon millions of barrels of oil went into the Gulf of Mexico. With is oil spill the lead agency for coastal oil spills NOAA Office provided mission critical as a guide. The NOAA scientist reported on the long- and short-term effects it had on the wildlife, habitats and fish injured due to the crisis. Also, not to mention the loss of recreational use along the coast of Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas, Alabama and Florida. Most importantly due to threats they plan the restoration by decreasing and mitigating interactions with commercial and recreational fishing gear, characterizing and reducing impacts from noise, and increasing the understanding of causes of marine mammal illness and death.
https://response.restoration.noaa.gov/oil-and-chemical-spills/significant-incidents/deepwater-horizon-oil-spill

https://www.epa.gov/enforcement/deepwater-horizon-bp-gulf-mexico-oil-spill

by: Adam Loyd
In London, November and December of 1952 was was the coldest time of the year, people left and right were dying from frostbite, hypothermia, people literally freezing to death. So what are the people of London were to do?, for them to keep warm they start burning large quantities of coal in the chimneys of their homes. But little did they know that they created something more deadly than the cold, the created a smog so thick that I killed up to 4,000 people and people say that it was so thick that it stop trains, roads highways and many more!!! they also said that it killed cattle, it was so bad that people that if you walked in it for at least ten second you would be completely black. So how did they fix it?, laws were passed to never repeat the situation again and the were called the clean air acts of 1956, and after that smog has been a thing of the past in London.

Global Warming isn't just the melting of ice caps, it's also shifting precipitation patterns, causing sea levels to rise which affects low land areas, Hurricanes and other storms like tsunamis to grow stronger. As time passes animals will have to either migrate or tarnish

Robert Spoores
The garbage island is also known as the Pacific trash vortex spans waters from the west coast of north America to japan. There are two spots where the garage patches are, the first one is near japan and the second one is in the united states between the U.S. states of Hawaii and California. These bodies of trash affect the environment when sea animals get stuck or even eat the garbage. Trying to get rid of all that trash is a long mission to accomplish because its estimated to be 3.5 million tons of waste. There has been attempts to clean it out put to much to retrieve. The no littering law in California is getting bigger and bigger as the state grows. If you are caught littering you can be fined more than $1,000. The most interesting thing I have found out about the island of garbage is that it’s the size of Texas.
https://www.nationalgeographic.org/encyclopedia/great-pacific-garbage-patch/

https://science.howstuffworks.com/environmental/green-science/clean-up-garbage-patch.htm

By: Bryan Lopez
The Hong Kong plastic disaster refers to a marine pollution event in adjacent waters of Hong Kong in 2012. Typhoon Vicente hit Hong Kong and its adjacent waters on 23 July 2012, causing seven containers, six of which were loaded with polypropylene pellets to fall into and float into the south waters of Hong Kong after the storm. some containers were destroyed by waves, releasing plastic pellets in to the into the ocean. They started a plastic clean up project with many different organizations in Hong Kong to help clean the beach shores and the ocean from all the plastic that fell into it.

By: Jamar Vanloan
Love Can-al was the name of both an aborted canal project and the name of a neighborhood containing approximately 800 single-family homes adjacent to the canal, but was turned into a environmental travesty when h0-oker Company obtained the partially dug can-al.
In the time period of 1942 to 1953, the H0-oker Chemical Company used the Can-al as a chemical waste dump, dumping around 21,000 tons of toxic chemicals including at least 12 carcinogens, substances that are able to cause cancer in living tissue. Later H0-oker Chemical Co. sold the land to the Niagara Fall School Board by covering the 16-acre landfill with clay and included a "property warning" to escape future Liability.
The event gained public attention in the late 1970s but by then the effects of the landfill had more than taken its toll on its citizens. Illnesses such as epilepsy, asthma, migraines, nephrosis, and abnormally high rates of birth defects and miscarriages plagued the populace for the chemicals leached in to the basements, yards, and playground via underground swales and sewer systems that lead off in to nearby creeks.

As a result, Legislators and Activists pushed for a new legislation that held polluters financially responsible for the cleaning of toxic waste sites, and in 1980 the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act, or Superfund was created. This Act was specifically built to fund the cleanup of toxic wastes.
https://www.geneseo.edu/history/love_canal_history
https://archive.epa.gov/epa/aboutepa/love-canal-tragedy.html
