GIFs are used for buttons and banners on websites, since these types of images typically do not require a lot of colours.
 

According to Steve Wilhite, the creator of the original GIF format, it is pronounced "jiff" (like the peanut butter brand). However, most people still pronounce it "gif" (with a hard G). Therefore, either pronunciation is acceptable.

Domain names are used to identify websites. Domain names are very broad such as "microsoft.com" links to multiple IP addresses. Domain names are found in the URL. For example, a domain name would be "Google.com".
Domain names are preferred over IP addresses as they are much easily to remember. "Google.com" is much easier to remember compared to "64.233.160.0".
Domain names appear at the start of the website address as this is where everything is being accessed from, this is the location where what you are seeing is coming form. This can be seen in google search with google.com being right at the start of the address.
When choosing an domain name, the domain name must not be taken as this is used to identify the website. The ending must also be considered depending on what you will use the address for (.com, .org, .gov etc).
If the website address is wrong, then the search wont bring the user to the website, it will either be an unused address or will take the user to the wrong site.

1. Form Factor: For small businesses,  the best choice is a dedicated entry-level server in a tower configuration.
2. Processor: Choose a server-specific processor to boost performance and data throughput. 
3. Memory: Buy as much memory as you can afford and look for expansion slots for future upgrades.
4. Storage: Look for SATA or SCSI hard disks, not IDE.
