I'm Allison Elwell Cricco, and I've been a speech and language pathologist since 2016. I earned my Master of Science in Communication Disorders from Mercy College, and a post-graduate certificate in Children with Special Healthcare needs. Prior to graduate school, I studied Anthropology at St. Lawrence University. Clincally, I have a background working with adults and children in many different settings, including home health, early intervention, private practice, NICU, SNF, outpatient hospital, inpatient hospital, preschool, elementary school, middle school, and high school. In academia, I currently work at three universities as adjunct faculty. I live near Providence, Rhode Island, though I'm a native Vermonter.

I currently work exclusively online, and I'm passionate about making speech and language pathology services and education accessible to all patients, clients, and students, regardless of their location. I'm licensed in seven states, and I'm dedicated to advancing access to remote care and education.

I love cooking, baking, reading, traveling, and spending time with my family. I live with my husband and English Labrador Retriever puppy, Spaghetti.

I hope that my doctoral studies will allow me to further my goals of providing widespread access to care, regardless of location. In addition, I hope that by furthering my education, I can provide next-level expertise for my students in undergraduate and graduate programs.
