We don't buy strict only local goods, but we try to buy local food wherever it's possible. When you make selective shopping you have to know much about the companys and their ethical views. When companies choose a great form of advertising for example a TV advertisement with a famous person in it, who has many fans, people feel addressed and want to buy the product. Moreover they can make people feel rich for example when companies advertise with great slogans and put people in it, looking rich. Advertisements always want to convey a message and mostly want to symbolize prosperity.
