- Weekly focus question:
I think that connected learning is an approach to learning to focus on connecting everything around students' learning. Therefore, everything in the world, such as school curriculum, students' everyday experiences out of the school, students' individual interests, and others' experiences in the world can be connected.

Then why do we seek these connection? It is because of students. Connecting many elements around students' life will make their learning more meaningful than isolated learning. If students find their learning in school meaningful, they will be more motivated by the discovery.

While there are many ways and tools to support connected learning, media and digital tools are the most important and innovative methods for the purpose which we can enjoy nowadays more than before.

- Connection about connected learning:
When my students use an online gamified tool for their learning, such as Kahoot, they get more engaged in their learning activity. The connection enacted by the tool leads to their collaboration and competition while they feel that they are connected with each other.

- Progress:
I have used a Google Jam Board before, and I think this is a little similar with this. I expect that students can use this tool to present their own answers online and compare and learn from their peers. However, I need to know how I can encourage their activity through this tool to be authentic learning, rather than just competition. Also, students will need to learn how to use this tool several times.
