Many people notice that their rabbits sleep a lot during the day. They assume that this must be because rabbits are nocturnal. But instead, there is a third option, they are crepuscular. Animals that are crepuscular are most active during the hours starting from dawn to dusk. So our pet rabbits are awake during the early morning and the evening hours. Rabbits usually use this as a defense mechanism. During these dim-light times in the day, daytime predators have already started to settle down for the night, and nighttime predators are only just starting to wake up.

Rabbits are amazing and cute animals. They have a lot of cool technique to run away from predators. However, they are a lot of work to take care of. If you want to buy a rabbit, you should consider whether you have enough money, time and space. They should also have space to run around.
