FACING THE CLIMATE CHANGE - ARNAU ACOSTA, ALBERT PLAT I POL TORRENT

The climate change <del>it’s</del> IS real and it’s affecting all the world, storms that have <del>ever</del> NEVER happened are <del>happening</del> in locations were it HAS never rained, the Poles are melting and, as a result, polar bears, whales and penguins are dying and losing their habitats, and a lot of species are <del>being extinged</del> BECOMING EXTINCT. To solve that, we have to be united and each of us <del>have</del> HAS to do little things to make a big change. But this has to start with the <del>politics</del> POLITICIANS and governments, and they have to <del>make</del> GIVE solutions to cities and industries to decrease <del>the</del> pollution.

I think that there are a lot of good solutions to make cities <del>more</del> greener, for example making more natural parks or green zones in the cities, without cars <del>on that zone</del> and a lot of trees, and making it attractive for animals to live there and create an ecosystem. Another solution is that the government has to implement aids for electric cars or <del>bicycle</del>,BICYCLES because those don’t pollute as much as the current cars and implement people to use the bicycle to make them healthier in terms of sportS <del>activity</del>.

MEASURES TO FACE CLIMATE CHANGE - NIL AND GERARD
The climate change is not a joke, it exists and if we don't start taking measures, we will suffer its consequences.
In order to face <del>climatic</del> CLIMATE change, there are many possible innovations to be implemented. Firstly, we should pollute less, <del>recylce</del> RECYCLE <del>more</del> and respect more the environment. We also have to reduce the use of personal vehicles and start using electric or hybrid cars. And finally, we also have to stop <del>desforestating</del> DEFORESTATING <del>woods and</del> forests<del>,</del> because that damages the atmosphere and the natural environment.

From now on, <del>the</del> climate change will get worse, so <del>thecnologies</del> NEW TECHNOLOGY will be needed to change that situation. Some possibilities could be: the electric transportation <del>will be one of the best options</del> for improving pollution and noise levels in cities. The electric car will be one of the best options (<del>for improving pollution and noise levels in cities</del>) REPEATITION. Cities will grow towards the sky where there will be apartments, basically, the structure of the buildings will consist of narrow and very tall buildings, similar to skyscrapers, each of which will be dedicated to a single service, or several of those, but well organised on different floors. Another interesting way to reduce the methane pollution from cattle farming would be to replace <del>the</del> beef with a substitute made from insects. The question is: can technology really save us from <del>the</del> climate change ? Meritxell, Marina i Anna

Marc Platero, Jordi Bolance. <del>Doing</del> MAKING a big dome of solar panels<del>,</del> would provide a big amount of energy to the city. The dome would cover almost all the city. Diesel cars will stop being produced and we will travel by electric vehicles. Public transports will become more accessible <del>for</del> TO everyone. Stop using plastic and use more organic materials to avoid pollution, for example, wooden straw. Reducing meat <del>consumes</del> CONSUMPTION would also help, because meat industries produce a lot of <del>contamination</del>.CONTAMINATING GASES To conclude, we can avoid climate change.
