Therefore, we provide targeted support to assist our students through any mental health issues they may encounter: -Guidance Counsellors provide support and can act as a liaison between student and teachers in the event that an emotional need is compromising one’s ability to succeed at school; -Social Workers are on hand to deal with emotional struggles that students are facing; -Psychologists can provide expert guidance if needed; -The Wellness Room at Beal is designed to provide an alternate setting when students experience emotional overload; -Teachers and Learning Support Teachers are there to provide emotional support as well.
