while watching this interview, i felt sick to my stomach. Peters behaviour towards keegan was not professional at all. it was disgusting. Keegan was young when he committed those crimes and he regrets them dearly, so peter had no right to make the entire interview about keegans past. Peter completely ruined Keegans moment of joy. The look on Keegans face shows that he felt extremely uncomfortable and upset during the interview which made me feel angry. Just think of being in a moment of so much joy but that feeling gets ruined by your past being brought up, all while being on Live Tv. How would that feel for you? i also find it utterly disgusting that Peter only apologised after getting hated on by people on social media, online, etc. I also found that there was racism involved in this interview as he only pointed out his crimes because hes a person of colour. How upsetting is that? Later on in the interview, peter began saying that Keegan should use the money he won to pay back the company that he stole from. In my opinion, thats none of his business. Because of this, Keegan now has to constantly be reminded of his past crimes and how he got humiliated everytime somebody brings up the 1 million dollar fish. Peter has proved himself to be a racist, selfish, disgusting man for humiliating a 19 year old boy as a 42 year old grown man.

Islamophobia and negativity towards muslims in the media.

for as long as i can remember, muslims have been disrespectfully name called and negatively portrayed all over the media. The second that one muslim does something wrong, muslims are called terrorists. Parents are teaching their children that Muslims are bad which i find absolutely disgusting. A few weeks ago a bishop was stabbed in Sydney by a muslim, resulting in all muslims being called terrorists. I find it absolutely absurd that just because one Muslim does something wrong, all of them get name called. this proves that the media is racist and negative. little kids around the world find hijabis scary, which was obviously taught by their parents/guardians. Muslims all over social media are being called 'oppressed' and 'terrorists' which is appalling. Muslims after the stabbing in sydney are being humiliated. I saw a comment saying, "how is this meant to be the religion of peace if muslims are stabbing people? disgusting." this is horrible. i felt sick reading all of those comments. The fact that islamophobia is so normalised and common in the media makes me sick. its just pure racism.

Double standards in the parliament

it is so upsetting that the Victorian parliament has banned the keffiyeh. It is even more upsetting that David Southwick was seen wearing a yellow ribbon/badge in support of the Israeli community. The presence of double standards in the Victorian parliament is disgusting to me. When Fatima Payman made that speech about the genocide happening in Palestine, The parliament started putting pressure on her to resign and they also called the speech inappropriate which is enraging to me. its unfair that the Victorian Parliament claims to have equality when clearly it is racist and unfair. Does it not make you feel sick to your stomach knowing that the victorian parliament doesnt care that the innocent lives of Palestinians are being taken for no reason? this is disgusting.
