I Loved the movie Indian Horse it was such a powerful story about an Indigenous boy who goes to residential school and becomes a great hockey player until his demons catch up to him, and in the end he comes to terms with his trauma. it was so powerful and it brought a tear to my eye watching it.

Another show, but so important. I loved the Deaf representation SO much. I love Deaf actors/actresses being casted and the Sign Language awareness that comes through in projects like these. I am Hard of Hearing myself so the representation of both componenets made watching the show so special to me. It healed a part of my inner child. I also like the messages about family, and choosing to do what's right even if you get lost.
