Western countries arm and fund groups who don't support their own governments, in an effort to undertake a regime they don't like. 

2) Stop funding dictators of the Middle East, and start working against them.

3) The U.S. has to stop the drone attacks against innocent people. Killing terrorists doesn't end terrorism, it will only encourage more people to turn extremists. 

4) Shut down the religious schools. They are the main source of violent extremists around the world.
