Every week you must complete your homework on Doodle Maths and Spelling Frame. You need ranging from 100 - 105 Doodle Stars and 3 Spelling tests completed by the end of the week. If every week your homework has not been completed, then for Doodle Math you have to stay inside during the play period and complete the stars that you didn't finish for e.g if you have completed 75 stars but it's the end of the week; you have to stay inside and finish the remaining 25 stars to make 100. To make sure everything is done I would do around 25 stars on: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday And Thursday. Since you have to complete your Doodle Math by Thursday and Spelling Frame by Friday. On Friday The Top 3 Doodlers in each Year 6 class get to take a picture with a Math trophy for the 1st most doodler in each class. The Same is for Spelling Frame on Friday. But The Top 1. Spellers in each class take a picture instead of the 1. 2. and 3. in each class. And the 1. Speller in each class get to keep the trophy on there desk only in school. Then the next week when there is new 1. spellers and then you give back the trophy so they can have it.

This year will be a treacherous year with you encountering your SATs you'll need to be the best you can be: Literacy, Maths and Curriculum will be the lessons you have. In the follow up to SATs you will have revision and be taught elements of the tests. In the last weeks before SATs you will have a practice run of what will happen that week. In other years you will do tests regularly like before the half term or a summer, easter or winter break in year six it doesn't happen so regularly. The only test in year six are SATs, Practice SATs and spelling tests.

In the classroom some rules will apply. In literacy Mrs Butler will allow people to listen to music but not spotify. In Maths there is no talk unless its maths talk. In curriculum you can sit where you want but once you've say down you have to sit there the next day or until Mrs Hall says you can sit where you want again. With Mrs Butler make sure your paying attention other wise you'll be picked for a question if shes not using dojo. To counter Mr grice you need to have a good sense of humor and be good at maths because Mr grice will slip in a joke here and there and will get annoyed when your talking except if your helping someone and whispering. With Mrs Hall no effort is needed because the lessons will always be fun.

A Lot of classroom jobs include tidying up or handing out or collecting the books.

To revise for the test you could go to the SATs club because says club helps you a lot. At home you could also revise by doing some 10 minute tests. You also do 10 minute tests in Literacy and Maths to prepare for SATs. (you only do that when SATs is around 3 months away) The tests aren't really too hard because during the SATs tests you are allowed to ask for someone to read it to you.
