On slips of paper, write down a few challenging activities students can try in order to help them practice taking chances. Examples of activities include saying something nice to someone, trying a new food, or saying yes to a new experience. Place all the papers in the bucket.
Read the book. 
Have students select a chance. Ask students to do what the papers say. 
When they’re done, ask 
How did the chance make them feel? 
Scared? Excited? Worried? etc.?
Students will go stand under their emotions. 
Graph their feelings.

Brainstorming Activity: Most of us have an "idea" of how a basic item is used or its intended purpose.  Can this item be used in a different way?  Can it have other purposes? After reading, What Do You Do With An Idea?, we will brainstorm and list all of the purposes and uses of an egg.

STEM Activity: Eggs are fragile and BIG things can come from them (i.e. T-Rex!!!).  Think of your egg as an idea; it's precious!  Plan, design and create a contraption to protect your egg (idea)!!

Materials:
Tape & scissors provided
1 piece of cardboard
1 piece of bubble wrap
2 straws
1 piece of styrofoam
4 rubber bands
2 popsicle sticks
4 toothpicks
1 piece of tin foil
2 pipe cleaners

Constraints:
You may choose 5 materials (i.e. 2 straws and 4 toothpicks will count as 2 materials)
