The man in the center of this picture is the only the one who is wearing a bright colored clothes. Other people are wearing dark color clothing like black, dark green, brown and etc. Because of this light and dark contrast, it will make people ’s attention to the man in the center. The blood on the dead body, light red, wineish red is used and for the blood on the ground, orangeish red is being used. I guess artist wanted to make a time difference. The blood on the ground is the blood that people was killed long time ago, and blood on the dead people shows that people had been killed in recents. If we look at a man wearing the white shirt, being pointed by a gun, the brush work is very rough and careless which seems like he was being drawn very quickly. This gives a motion to the man and gives us a sense that the man just raised his hands up.
