Yes. I think Chang Rae Lee has fixed the relationship with his mother because he still serves her mother despite having problems in the family relationship. He is a responsible person and still shows affection towards his mother. He also always helps his mother in the kitchen to cook. Althought there were always misunderstandings between him and his mother, but they still got along well after death. Before his mother death, he always cooks for his mother who is sick. His mother can’t taste food well. He try hard to cooks while his mother never let any recipes. He always remembered the words and memories with his mother and hopes to get more attention. 

For me, yes. I truly believed that Chang Rae Lee and his mother relationship has been fixed. He tried hard to make Korean meals for her mother eventhough he knows that her mother cannot eat his cooking and always taking care of her mother. He wants to create lots of sweet memories with his mother because he knew there is no much time left for him. This proved that Chang Rae Lee will do anything for her mother to be happy again. This story taught us to always appreciates all the people we loved especially our own family.

Yes, I think Chang Rae Lee fixed the relationship with his mother because he always cook for his mother since he know that she had cancer. Other than that, Chang Rae Lee also took a good care about his mother and want to create the happy memories with his mother. He always cooked for his mother even though that she not eat until finished. The moment that he always remember is before his mom died is the time that his mom give compliments to food and eat with appetite.

PRL 2 Question: In the story of The Prayer, we can see how precious the prayer is to our loved ones. Based on the story, why is it important for Zora and Lilian to keep on praying in facing the circumstances? If you’re in their situation, how do you pray for your loved ones who terminally-ill to be hopeful? 

 

Based on the story The Prayer, praying is important for Zora and Lilian to keep on praying in facing the circumstance. As we know, Zora is  fighting her worsening illness in the hospital accompanied by her mother, Lilian. Because of that, prayer is very important for them to give hope to stay alive and enjoy the beauty of nature. Then, her mother hoping that she can fight the pain so that he can fulfill her desire after she recovery. Zora wishes to join the swimsuit campaign, casting call for the TV show, buy a new house and also her friends has prepared her weddings. By praying, it is more likely something miracle will happened or Zora can fight with her cancer and Lilian can see her daughter live in happiness. However, Zora is getting worse and can’t recover but only with his mother's prayers kept Zora alive. 

 If I in their situation, I will keep on praying and ask to Allah to heal the pain that my loved was suffered. I believe that God will answer the prayers of his servants who are in trouble and I hope something miracle will happened. The most important is, I will keep trying to pray and will not give up because the people I will live only once and I will feel lost if they are gone.
