Locke felt that we have no natural knowledge when we are born, that all of our ideas come from experience. He thought there were two kinds of experiences, sensation and reflection. Sensation is how the world effects us and reflection is how our own mind effects us. Locke also had strong feelings about education and t hat education made people think for themselves. He felt like education prepared people to self-govern themselves and to be involved in the country’s government.

Locke believed in the separation of Church and State and religious freedom like we have today. He thought that governments should respect religious freedom unless it would cause a problem in the country. Locke also felt that when the country no longer agreed with the King, the country should remove him, like Thomas Jefferson said in the Declaration of Independence. Locke felt that man had three rights - life, liberty and property. He felt that property came from a person’s on work.

1. I think his idea is sound because education is very important in life.
2. I think they would because Locke thinks that I person starts out good and his education molds him. While Rousseau thought that people start out good but society molds them.
3. I think that his philosophies are not in effect in our country, I think this because there are children who do not go school because they don´t have the money.
4.I think that Locke would vote for Trump because he was Pro funding charter schools meaning he want people to have a education.

1. I think John has a good sound clam, the government should protect the citizens life, liberty, and property.
2. Yes, because John thinks everyone is good and Jean-Jacques thinks man by nature is good but they are corrupted by society.
3. I would agree because we are in school learning while there is a bad sickness going around. Also at the same time a dont because some people cant afford to go to school or they are to sick.
4. I think trump because, they sorta think the same way and have some of the same opinions.
