Community/Fellowship-
I value the relationships I have in my life. Having fellowship is vital to me. The support comes from great mentors, friends, and family who have helped me as I walk through this journey of life. One thing I grew up hearing is that it takes a village to help you through life. Life wasn't meant to be lived alone. I believe that we are to live life to help and support each other as we go through life as well as telling others about Christ's love. Which includes the fellowship of my family.

Love/Care/Trust-
I love deeply, as I already mentioned I protect the people important to me and will stand up for them in any case. I love the people I care about and care for the people who pop up in my life, whether that's at school, work, or out and about. I also am very passionate about loving others as Christ loves us. Mark 12:31 says that "'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' there is not another commandment greater than this." With loving deeply I trust whole-heartedly, which doesn't always end up good in the end... I trust others with the things they tell me or I tell them. I am someone who values being trusted and trusting others, sometimes it's hard, but as I grow I know who the real friends are and who I can/can't rely on.

Time-
Time is valuable, I am not good at managing it to the core of the different activities. I try to split it up, by having family/friend time, reading God's Word, homework, and time to myself. I try to balance it out and make sure I'm rotating through extra activities throughout the week.

CHURCH-
I was raised that going to church was a must. Every single Sunday we went to church, my parents served/volunteered in many ways when I was younger and they still do. Church has always been a safe place for me to go and be myself and find whole-hearted fellowship with other believers.

Family-
My parents and other family members played a huge role in my life as I figured out what God meant to me. I took my faith as a believer seriously when I was middle/high school age. I wanted a relationship with Him just like I saw family and friends had. I protect the people who are important to me, I will defend and protect them if someone bullies or hurts them.

Work-
I was taught hard work is important and if I was passionate about something I needed to pursue it. I have grown up loving kids and wanting to make a difference in their lives. I have been babysitting since I was 12 and the majority of the families I babysit for were believers in God. One thing that babysitting and caring for other people's kids taught me how much of a role model I am to the younger generation. I did think they would look up to me and try to "be" like me. Which made me think am I being a good and influential role model for them. A verse that I live by and has helped me over the years is
Colossians 3:23-24 says- "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.

Faith-
James 1 is great about talking about faith and being hearers and doers of God's Word, but the verse that stands out to me most is verse 3 which says "for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness."
My faith in God is what gets me through my days and helps me to be the best I can be.

God's Word-
I have a Biblical worldview on life and what I do in it. Our society nowadays is seen with a Christian worldview that doesn't always line up with the Bible and what God's Word says. I believe that everything in the Bible is true and I have a firm stance with my beliefs.

Love-
Love is important to me, as Christ loves the church we are to do the same to others. Putting differences aside we are to be understanding and open-minded. We are called to love others. With that love and close friendships/family members will come accountability with things. Which is done in love.

My life and the degree I am pursuing is proof that my dreams turned into passions that are being pursued. I had support and motivation to help me get to where I am at and extremely thankful for the people who have played a role in it. My love for helping and serving others runs deep inside my being. I value love, support, community, and my faith also with a lot of other things that aren't as important. I am someone simple who can easily turn from a sweet kid to a sour one in seconds if someone I care about gets hurt. I can honestly say that I would not be where I am at today if it wasn't for the people in my life who have supported and helped me grow in my walk with God and also academically.

Classroom-
When I become a teacher and stand in front of and next to my students I will know that all the pain I went through was worth it all, just to know I am able to show love and support to students who were like me. Not just the ones who were like me, but all the different and unique students that I will meet one day.
