I’m hoping we aren’t just trying to give more points but that we are finding ways to give more points to those REALLY going above and beyond. Getting house points for something you are told and REMINDED to do (like cleaning the checkers area) isn’t really utilizing the point system how it was intended to be used. I may not give many house points but when I do, they are REALLY earned by kids that do more than what they are expected to do.

I suggested getting lanyards for the kids to wear like at my daughters school so we can see what house they are in without asking. I tend to see things I would reward from afar but do not have time to chase kids down to find out their house. It will also help them to know we can always see them to reward without having to do so.
Something right in front of us trying to get points. As in Harry Potter you always know what house they are in because they always wear their house accessories. We ciuld even do pin incentives like we did for staff last year to decorate them for more house encouragement. Like the house spirit awards and wildcat etc. ---Renee Waters
