I am always determined to get out of my comfort zone. Doing work experience at Juice creative marketing. Gave me experience in the working world, and I always wanted to learn more. I am committed to do whatever task that is set infront of me. I completed my task to the deadline and also turned up on time everyday. Which give me a positive mindset for the days ahead. I was always honest to my boss whenever I couldn't understand the task. I always asked questions which helped me become more confident on getting the work done.

In this job it says that I need advanced programming skills. I feel I don't know a lot about this and need to learn more. To do this I will look at tutorials on YouTube and Google to self teach myself everything. Then I will download gaming programs myself and will practice with the tools and everything on that program. Which will give me a good start in the industry. I will also look into a short courses. As I feel I will look more professional if I have a pass or some sort of grade in that industry. I feel that I'm good at multitasking and working as a team. As I've been having to do this in college already. I feel I still need to improve in working to a deadline and under pressure. To help me with this I will give myself tasks to do and will complete them to a deadline I have set myself. I feel that IGN is great for me, but I will need to learn all the programming. But will also include promoting products on the social media. I feel that I am good in the social media and confident in presenting games professionally.

I feel I have a creative mind, that can come up with good creative ideas for film making. But I feel that I am lacking skills the technical side of film making. To improve I will need to research on the Internet of effective camera shots and angles that will make effective scenes for a film. Knowing more film techniques will make my creative skills better and will make my work better overall. I feel that I'm good at leading a team and making sure things is organised and where they need to be.

In this job I will need to be good a writing and understanding the grammar and context the way the script is suppose to be written. To help me improve with this I will have to research on how to make a script good and effective and what I need to include to make it clear for the performers in the movie. When I have done this I will be writing my own script and marking them after to a professional mark sheet. I will repeat this until I feel I understand this enough.

In today's we focused on what we are going to do after college. we made a mindmap on University courses Apprenticeships and work experience. we did this as it improves our research and understanding on what we want to look at when we finish the course. the document below is ways you can get a job. Job roles, Networking, adverts, job sites, word of mouth, work experience and recruitment agencies. this helps us understand the benefits and the drawbacks of the certain ways. this will help our professionalism when trying to get a proper job. Overall I feel I have improved my understanding of how to get a job and the options I can take when I leave college in the next year or two.

At the start of the lesson we were told that the lesson is going to be based off teamwork and leadership. I was chosen as leader with Connor Almond, Jayleigh and Becky Smith. At first we were given a task to identify the benefits and drawbacks for the individual and company for fixed term contracts. I thought it would be fair to give everyone in my group 2 questions each to answer and present. This was the fairest and best way to show other people's ability in there confidence and there presenting skills. At first we were all nervous but as soon as we started speaking to the class the presentation started to flow and we always helped each other when we were stuck on what to say next.

After lunch, in groups we had to identify the working practices in TV. This was the media sector we were given and we needed to present this to another group. I felt it was fair to even out the questions for my group to answer then put it all on a single word document at the end. Doing this helped everyone in the group understand the questions and what we are going to present to another group. We needed to find professional bodies in the TV industry such as OfCom and BARB, and identify what they do to influence the media sector in a positive way.

Overall I feel that my leadership has improved from the start of the lesson. I was nervous at the start but I feel that my confidence and communication helped the group work together. His made the work we produced better and gives everyone more Of a understanding.

In this lesson we completed mind maps on work experience, universities and apprenticeships. This gave me more of a understanding of my options I have when I finish my course. I also explained the work placement I have already done and how it benefited me with my understanding of the media industry. When completing my university mindmap it gave me information about the finances and what I need to achieve to get on the course in the first place. I also started my flowchart about my paths I have taken in my life so far, and what options I have in the future. This gives me more of a understanding of my life options. I also had to complete a work sheet of different ways to get a job placement. This gave me more of a understanding of what I can do to and the different ways I can get a job. This will help me find the right later date. my work is in my unit folder and lower down on my padlet page.

In today's lesson we started of getting interviewed making it out like it was a proper real life job interview. Chloe Smith who gave me feedback said that I looked nervous as I kept swinging my chair back and forth. This also made me look unprofessional. She felt that I gave her a lot of examples of experience I have got working for Juic Creative Marketing. When speaking I did pause alot and said "er". I struggled to be fluid with my speaking and looking confident when speaking. This is something I have struggled with all of the time, but I have improved alot when going to Harlow College. She also felt that I was very honest whenever I felt I needed to improve on something. This makes any workplace trust me more with the job that they would be offering me, if it was a proper job. I feel that overall my interview went very well but can be improved. This will come with time and practice.

I am going to be determined to complete all work for Unit 3 by the deadline. Using an action plan I will be able to find out when I need to do the work, this will also work well with my plan/dairy. Nothing will get caught up between eachother , this will make sure I don't fall behind even more. To achieve my target grade I need to make sure everything is done to a professional standard before the final deadline. And the action plan will help me achieve this.

In today's lesson I completed a leaflet on legal and ethical constraints in film and TV productions. I had to say what they do to keep this industry secure from young children seeing inappropriate scenes. The BBFC gives the industry ratings which show people who wants to go and watch a film if it is suitable for there age. Keeps young people safe from seeing innapropriate things the parents do not want them to see.
GBFTE helps young editors learn to become professional, this keeps this industry full of workers and it won't die out, which may effect the whole film industry all together.

After we made a plan that will help us with our final presentation, this will help me with my final notes and will help me become more organised, which will make me be more confident when presenting to the teacher.

In this activity we were asked to go to other groups to find out information about the different media sectors. My group was given Film and we had to find out information about radio. I found out that RAJAR make sure that no adverts shown on adverts can come across as offensive to other people. They support radio companies and try to keep them clear from getting fined. This exercise was good in helping me understand the different rules each media sector has to keep them clear of getting in trouble.
