This book has been pretty good so far. She (the main character) talks about her dad visiting her from New York, to Dominican Republic. Since her dad was most likely born in the DR, and moved to the USA, it’s close to me. It is close to me since I immigrated from Poland to the USA when I was just 7 years old. Hi! My name is Ronnie, and to be honest, I don’t think reading is my strongest side. I do read, of course. Most of the books I have enjoyed reading were Realistic Fiction, or Graphic Novels. From the tour of the virtual classroom, I really liked the fact that there was an LGBTQ+ section. I immediately went to there and found a ton of books I would like to read. I also went to the romance section, as I enjoy those too. I really like this book. So far it is a great read and I am happy to pick up the book. Hopefully I will read this whole book. As of right now, it is a little boring but I hope it gets better as I keep reading.
