         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Farewell Address of President George Washington was an important piece to the U.S history. In this letter, the President explained his reason for serving only two terms, a precedent that was followed long after he was gone. He also advised the country to stay out of foreign affairs, which resulted in the country turning into one of the strongest country on Earth. George Washington also advised that the country should not have political parties, for it will split the country in half. The country did not listen to that advice and formed the first two political parties in America's history, Federalists and Republicans.</div>]]></description>
