Dear Diary,
Today,I was asked to do a project on trade before 1819 in Singapore. The results I had found were very astounding to me.To my surprise,Singapore was a very busy trading port before 1819.I can conclude that from the evidences I have collected. For example, there were some coins found at the Parliament House complex near the Singapore River. They were from 13th century. An image of Buddha can be seen on most of the coins. And so,I can infer from the evidences that Singapore traded with Sri Lanka in the past.Similiarly, there is a Javanese style statue of a rider on a horse found at the Empresse Place. And so,I can infer from the evidences that Singapore traded with Java in the past. And so,from these evidences I can conclude that Singapore had existed before 1819 and had been a very busy trading port. With this new discovery of mine,I am going to say bye to you,my dear diary.I will meet you next after another exciting discovery of mine.Bye Bye.
Signing off,
Mohamed Pervez
